Commissioned by Roche Canada and developed by Santis Health, the Achieving a connected health data system report provides an independent assessment of data connectivity across Canadian provinces. Analysis confirms that while digital foundations exist, Canada lags significantly behind international peers in capitalizing on them. Often, electronic data remains siloed and practically inaccessible for care or research.
We will explore how provinces can leverage shared learnings to overcome fragmentation and transition from data custodianship to stewardship, ultimately improving health systems for all Canadians.
