This webinar is focused on equity, diversity & inclusion within digital health, covering topics such as leadership and team composition, digital literacy, and creating, implementing and evaluating tools and programs using relevant digital health equity frameworks.

Presented by:

Tania Tajirian is the Chief Medical Information Officer and Chief of Hospital Medicine Division at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto, Canada. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, a physician wellness liaison and her academic interests are quality improvement initiatives, including how to improve efficiencies of practice by reducing EHR/technology clinician related burnout. She is the recent recipient of 2022 Women Leaders in Digital Health Award by Digital Health Canada.

Allison Crawford, MD, PhD, is a psychiatrist and the Chief Medical Officer for the national crisis line, Talk Suicide Canada. She is also Director of Virtual Mental Health and Psychiatry Outreach at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Her research lab, HeART Lab explores the intersection of art, research, and technology to create health equity.

Lydia Sequeira, MHI, PhD is a mental health informatics researcher at CAMH's Digital Mental Health Research Lab and Canada Health Infoway’s mental health team. She holds a CIHR Health System Impact Postdoctoral Fellowship and an AMS Healthcare Fellowship in Compassion and Artificial Intelligence. Her work is focused on improving mental health care and service delivery through technology, including studying the usefulness and integration of mobile apps into care. Lydia is also a course instructor at Michener's Digital Health and Data Analytics Program and University of Toronto’s Master of Health Informatics Program.
