AWS Alberta Health Cloud Learning Days | Continuing Education Sessions

Across Alberta, health care is moving to the cloud. And across the health sector, digital skills and knowledge are needed like never before.

On June 6 in Calgary and June 9 in Edmonton, AWS is offering free cloud learning days. Part of the AWS Initiate program, these instructional sessions equip health care professionals with key cloud competencies.

Participants will learn directly from cloud health experts on AWS’ Canada and global teams, who bring key experience from Alberta Health Services, Pfizer, and Merck, among other organizations.

A Digital Health Canada Continuing Education event, AWS Initiate cloud learning days build knowledge and skills related to Module 3: Information Management and Module 4: Information Technology of the Digital Health Canada Core Health Informatics learning modules.

Learning session topics include:

• How to solve common operational challenges using AI and Machine Learning
• How to leverage the cloud to prepare for ransomware
• Accelerating innovation and migration with the Cloud Operating Model 
• Transforming citizen service delivery: best practices from provincial digital health teams
