The future of digital literacy

The pandemic-induced increase in virtual healthcare delivery has sparked an increase in digital literacy while highlighting the need for more learning among some groups. How can we keep the learning momentum alive? Join us for the next Atlantic Chapter Virtual LinkUp to discuss:

  1. What are Atlantic Region healthcare workers doing to maintain their own digital literacy?
  2. How can we create equity for groups who need it?
  3. What are we doing for populations with access and bandwidth challenges?

Moderated by:

Connie Munroe is a Masters prepared nurse who transitioned from working as a Pediatric RN at a large tertiary care center to supporting Clinical Information Systems for the Province of Nova Scotia. Her work with informatics led her into the world of healthcare consulting where she supported numerous clinical system transformations throughout North America. Now as the Health Lead with Barrington Consulting, Connie has been working with clients who are embarking on their virtual care journey or looking to grow upon their successes. Her focus on the big picture and understanding of workflow processes, interoperability and digital health literacy support clients in all areas of health.

LinkUps create a space for small groups to take a break, re-connect, and share stories, challenges, and experiences with peers in an online setting. The small-group setting gives everyone an opportunity to be heard and join the conversation. Complimentary registration is limited; register today to confirm your spot!
