Exploring the new reality of the confluence of social media, population health, virtual care, and truth

Presented by: 

Naima Salemohamed, Management Consultant at Gevity Part of Accenture. She has over 7 years of experience in the Health Informatics industry and has worked on projects ranging from home health monitoring to electronic medical record data migrations, and more recently the COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout in British Columbia. Additionally, Naima has a strong passion for networking and building strong relationships. Currently, at Gevity, she co-leads their social media platforms and is curious about how social media affects our day-to-day life. In her personal life, she is an avid foodie and enjoys lots of outdoor time.

Naima holds a BSc in Health Informatics from the University of Victoria and an MSc in Health Informatics from the University of Toronto. She recently completed her Lean Six Sigma and PROSCI Change Management Certificates.

Marc Koehn is an entrepreneur, management consultant and business executive. He currently leads the Canadian Health Portfolio for Accenture. Working with clients in both public and private sector settings, he regularly advises on strategies and tactics pertaining to a range of topics including standards-based integration, data driven decision making and analytics, and system transformation.

A proud father of two daughters pursuing STEM careers, Marc is an avid snowboarder and skier, passable soccer player and occasional cyclist.

Marc holds a Bachelor in Computer Science from the University of Victoria and a Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. He has completed Harvard University’s Leading Professional Services Firms executive program and holds the Information Systems Professional (I.S.P.) designation from the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS) as well as the Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS)™ designation from the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
