Patsy Wong has worked in the healthcare sector for over 15 years. She specializes in health informatics, healthcare information analytics and reporting. She is a Digital Solutions Program Consultant working at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI). She has contributed to multiple releases of CIHI indicators, and corporate projects for enriching various reporting products. She led the reporting of emergency department wait times using data collected from hospitals across Canada. She has experience with various types of healthcare data. Prior to joining CIHI, Patsy worked in both the public and private sectors. She has a solid IT consulting and software engineering background in multiple industries. Patsy has been a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems – Canada (CPHIMS-CA) since 2013, and she holds a Masters Certificate in Healthcare Management.
